beautiful to my eyes

The beauty of a woman
Is not in the clothes she wears,
The figure that she carries,
Or the way she combs her hair.

-internet-

the beauty of a woman
resides in the passion which she loves
in the careness of her touch
and how she inflames our lifes as a torch

-me-

why all this poetry???

well,
women are inspiring
and I must say
I am inspired but this woman in particular
she has what I called plain beauty
no direct trace of makeup
or the hair done
just a natural look
yes, maybe the most complicated to get, :)
I know...
but is also the better look in my opinion.

FRED PERRY FOR LIBERTY "HERITAGE"

fashiON!

http://www.liberty.co.uk/pws/images/catalogue/categories/product_promos/fred-perry.jpg

It really feels like ages since my last post about clothing

so I wanted to do a special one

and I decided to speak about 2 well established houses of fashion

Fred Perry and Liberty

and a fantastic collaboration they did last year.

HERITAGE ALL OVER THE POST

So, I few facts about Fred Perry and Liberty

-----Fred Perry-----

The laurel emblem brand, is named under the English tennis and table tennis player Frederick John Perry (18 May 1909 – 2 February 1995)

This brand is commonly known by their famous polo shirts used in the sixties by the Mod culture movement and by the ska and skin culture after them.

I recommend to visit the brand's website

and listen to the Subculture music player you have in it, is really good!

And now:

Liberty & Co.

is a long-established department store on Regent Street in Central London

founded by Arthur Lasenby Liberty in 1875

selling ornaments, fabric and rare objects from Japan and the East.

During the years the store became the most fashionable place to shop in London and Iconic Liberty PRINTED FABRICS were used for both clothing and furnishings.

The actual department store in Great Marlborough St, London W1B 5AH

And finally THE collection:

The range includes four classic Fred Perry pieces styled using two of Liberty’s timeless prints; “Mark” (paisley) and “Edenham” (floral)

I love the Edenham print on the inner collar and placket

So, Did you like it?

What do you think about it?

------------------

I couldn’t finish a post about Fred Perry without mention the collaboration they did with Amy Winehouse, which I must say, I did like it, :S

Well, is not perfect, but is pretty good

She teamed up with Fred Perry to create a 17-piece retro-inspired wardrobe, consisting of capri trousers, cardigans and mini-dresses.

Fred Perry marketing director Richard Martin said to a British newspaper that the troubled performer had a very hands-on role in the creation of the range.

"Amy has been wearing Fred Perry for years, so we were aware she was a genuine fan of the brand," he said. "She has a unique sense of style that reflects the brand's own historical reference points"

Well,

I won't deny I would love to see my girlfriends wearing these shoes

What do you think about this collection?

---------------------------

And this was the main reason I started this post,

I didn’t know shoes were also part in the collection and when I found them

I had to buy them, I

think they are just perfect
