CIBELES MADRID FASHION WEEK

It was fashion time in Madrid, “Cibeles Madrid fashion week” was in town, with lot to show, and to demonstrate.

I take this opportunity to introduce everyone to Spanish designers and get start with my new bilingual “English-Spanish” posts from now on (as I been asked many times by many readers)

Two kind of designers could be seen as always in this fashion week, those lucky ones to participate doing the runways, “the veterans talents” and the lucky ones to be able to show (and sell) their collections in rails outside the runway, “the up-and-coming talents”.

Case 1. Runways

Victorio & Lucchino

Jesús del Pozo

Adolfo Domínguez

Amaya Arzuaga

Antonio Alvarado

Case 2. Showroom

Alberto Etxebarrieta “Sinpatron”

Joan Fábregas

Sara Campillo & Ibai Leon “atakontu

Sara & Ibai during the showroom, I will write more about then sooner than you think!

One of their designs called “ciervo”

People had the opportunity to change their style with professional hairdressers and makeup artists, girls of all ages were crazy about this opportunity and queued for hours to be able to feel as real models (crazy, or not?)

Was on one of these queues where we could find people like her, with their own style, casual? or not so casual fashion?

A beautiful smile on a special shirt with black pattern, something nice and different to wear

Two friends enjoying a beer while watching garments in the showroom, the style was too fresh too let pass an opportunity for a fast shoot

Telva magazine was there and the girls working there after 12 hours of hard work were still looking fresh and happy to pose, that’s the spirit, thanks girls!.

Harper’s bazaar was also there celebrating their first number in Spain; we will see what this veteran magazine has to offer to the Spanish market. I wish them good luck.

She was the beautiful girl in charge of promoting Harper’s

These two stylish friends were kind enough to pose for my camera in Harper’s stand.

Both were a little tense at the beginning

But at the end all was laughing

At now, some random pictures.
